The Commercial Manager will provide support to the Area Commercial Manager. The individual should be commercially and contractually aware with an ability to work under pressure across multiple projects and manage time effectively. A background in law would be a distinct advantage. Job Accountabilities / Key Responsibilities •Drafting and negotiating legal contracts •Interpreting contracts in different areas, including commercial, employment, property, litigation •General risk management •Project managing transactions •Maintaining records for internal audits •Post contract management •Managing the internal customer – sales, finance, operations, management •Responding to the internal (sales, finance, operations, management) and external clients’ on contractual matters •Preparing and maintaining contract summaries •Reporting on special issues as required by management •Integrate Orange Excellence values to continuously improve processes/tasks · Liaising with Regional and Central Operations team on a regular basis Person Specification/Job Requirements •Legally qualified •3 – 5 years experience – either in private practice or in house Desired Skills · Effective problem solving must be highly developed · Works well in time bound situations · Able to multi task · Attention to detail · Confidentaily is a must •Numerically astute •Excellent communication skills •Commercially aware Desired Behaviors · Drive for results – a deep seated inner desire to compete against standards of excellence and achieve “step changes” in business results. · Task completion – reliable, committed to completing tasks. · Resilience – persistent, positive and self reliant. · Accountability – drives outcomes by taking personal responsibility. · Customer focus - understands the importance of customer needs, whether internal or external. · Ability to develop relationships with the customer (internal and external).
